Lieberman Software Recently Won 2015 Microsoft Partner of Year Award for Application Development and Will Receive Award During WPC
(Los Angeles, CA – July 14, 2015) Lieberman Software Corporation is using its Gold Sponsorship at Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) this week to educate the Microsoft partner community about how privileged access management can contain cyberattacks that penetrate the network perimeter.
The company is exhibiting its privileged access management solution, Enterprise Random Password Manager™ (ERPM), in Booth 326 at the event. Lieberman Software recently won the 2015 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award for Application Development. The company will receive the award during WPC. The accolade is in recognition of ERPM and Lieberman Software’s initiatives in the Microsoft partner network. ERPM is deployed on Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 and SQL Server 2014, either on-premises or on Microsoft Azure Certified VMs in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
Lieberman Software also presented a session during WPC titled Protect Customers from Cyber Attacks & Prosper with Privilege Management. The session detailed how high-profile data breaches of Sony Pictures, Target and other enterprises defeated perimeter defenses, making IT Security top of mind among executive management. During the presentation, Jess Richter – Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Lieberman Software – explained to attendees how privilege management can contain cyberattacks and prevent their customers from being the next data breach headline.
“Mitigating perimeter breaches and stopping cyberattacks from extending their reach in the network requires automated technology that continuously helps secure privileged credentials and controls access to sensitive systems,” Richter said. “During my presentation I stressed to attendees why privilege management should be part of their customer’s defense-in-depth security strategies.”
“Cybersecurity, especially privilege management, has become a ‘must have’ for organizations of all sizes,” said Bob Baker, Director of Product Marketing, Microsoft Azure. “Companies like Lieberman Software complement and enhance the protections built into Windows and other Microsoft technologies, as our mutual clients accelerate their transition to the cloud.”
