Philip Lieberman Discusses Mitigating Pass the Hash Attacks and Securing the Enterprise with Adaptive Privilege Management
(Los Angeles, CA – March 19, 2015) – Philip Lieberman, President and CEO of Lieberman Software Corporation, will be a conference speaker at InfoSec World 2015, held in Orlando, FL from March 23 – 25. Lieberman Software will also exhibit its recently updated adaptive privilege management product, Enterprise Random Password Manager™ (ERPM), in booth 301 at the event.
Lieberman Software’s automated privilege management security solution, ERPM, blocks the lateral motion of cyber attacks that penetrate the network perimeter. ERPM time-limits privileged credentials and restricts privileged access inside the IT environment to audited users only. With ERPM, a stolen credential cannot be used by an intruder to leapfrog from system to system on the network, and anonymously extract sensitive data.
Mr. Lieberman will present two sessions at InfoSec World 2015 on how privilege management technology can help resolve real-world cyber security threats. The sessions include:
Achieving Real Security: Privilege Management and Automated Credential Rotation
Tuesday, March 24, 2:00pm – 3:00pm
You’re losing track of privileged accounts. You aren’t changing privileged passwords regularly. Your Superuser passwords are insecurely stored in a spreadsheet on a public share. How do you implement real controls over your powerful privileged identities to secure access to critical systems? In this session we’ll present better ways of protecting the enterprise and achieving real privileged account security with automated solutions.
Mitigating the Pass-the-Hash Exploit by Identity, Network and Privilege Redesign
Wednesday, March 25, 11:00am – 12:00 pm
Pass-the-hash (PTH) attacks work because of fundamentally poor network designs and IT operational decisions that leave your organization vulnerable. In this session we’ll discuss how to redesign the security of your workstations, servers, domains and directories to minimize the PTH problem. We’ll also discuss least privilege, just in time administration, and limiting password lifetimes – therefore also limiting the useful lifetime of hashes.
